NWOBHM

Angel Witch is a British heavy metal band which was assembled in 1977. They were part of the NWOBHM (New wave of British heavy metal) movement together with bands such as Iron Maiden and Saxon. The band was founded under the name of Lucifer and initially comprised guitarist and vocalist Kevin Heybourne, guitarist Rob Downing, bassist Kevin Riddles and drummer Steve Jones. Lucifer split and Steve Jones joined up with Bruce Dickinson to form Speed. The remnants of Lucifer became Angel Witch in the following year,when Dave Hogg joined on drums. Eventually Rob Downing left the band.

There are 3 bands known as Wolfpack; 1) Wolfpack was the former name of the Swedish hardcore punk/d-beat band Wolfbrigade. Wolfpack changed their bandname to Wolfbrigade after a right wing racist community started using the name "Wolfpack"; they did not want to be associated with right wing politics. 2) Wolfpack were a 5-piece thrash/traditional metal band from Preston, UK. They released one album entitled "Total Head Removal" before changing their name to Salem (UK) and releasing a demo called "Impending Doom"

There are at least 4 artists under this name. An English NWOBHM band from Oxford, a female singing group, a Hip-hop MC/producer, and a hardcore band. Virtue/DJ ear.2.ear (n. Steve Tyson), began experimenting with producing, mixing, and spinning since childhood, but didn't actively pursue it until enrolling at Franklin & Marshall College in southeastern PA. Alongside his partner in rhyme T.R.E. (Trained Revolutionary Emcee/ Truth Remains Eternal), they have won a variety of competitions, as well as opened for hip-hop icons The Spooks and Talib Kweli.

Dragster is the name of two different bands. One the project of singer-songwriter Deborah Cavallero and Sleater-Kinney's Lora MacFarlane. The music is jangly pop, reminiscent of Jenny Toomey's older work. Dragster are also a Punk n Roll 5 Piece from Coventry, UK.
