Black Math

With their drum-machine-powered, infectious fuzzed-out goth, Black Math bring to mind the Jesus and Mary Chain (or, if you ask them, Siouxsie and the Banshees), but with more layers to pick apart. Xina’s vocals float like the open sky above dark clouds, and she plays the cello! Jimmy’s synth and sharp drum patterns bring a shadowy dark-wave element, while Andrew’s wall-of-sound guitar harkens back to the aforementioned 1980s shoegazers.

Atomic Kitten

Atomic Kitten were an English girl group, first established in 1997 in Liverpool. The original line-up featured, Liz McClarnon, Kerry Katona and Heidi Range (now in the Sugababes), but Range decided to quit and was replaced by Natasha Hamilton. Jenny Frost (formerly of Precious) replaced Katona in 2001. Hamilton, McClarnon & Frost were the final and most successful line-up of the group. Atomic Kitten had three UK number one singles; Whole Again, the fourth best selling single by a girl group of all time; Eternal Flame and The Tide Is High (Get the Feeling).

This blistering instrumental three-piece from the hinterlands of Auckland, New Zealand has enchanted audiences with its rhythmic onslaught since 2006.
Described variously as “lead-heavy” with “sparse and beautiful” moments, the trio have carved out a unique brand of dark rock that is scattered with melodic hooks. Their catchy, sometimes ambient brand of molten-core will appeal to fans of Swans and Bailterspace, but discerning listeners will know the trio peddle a uniquely atmospheric take on angular rock.

Covering subjects from Love, to politics, from celebrity culture to an epic 12 minute song about a mad doctor, there is something to like about Lucida Scroll, whatever your taste! Having been together since late 2010, Lucida Scroll already have a UK tour this April/May. They have spent most of the last few months holed up in the studio, writing and honing their songs, and playing a series of warm up shows.

North Mississippi Allstars is an American rock/blues jam band from Hernando, Mississippi, founded in 1996. The band is composed of brothers Luther Dickinson (guitar, vocals) and Cody Dickinson (drums, keyboards, electric washboard), and Chris Chew (electric bass guitar). Duwayne Burnside, who formerly played second guitar in the band, is a son of R.l. Burnside (who has also played on some of the band's tracks).

The Genie is a band from San Francisco, California which coined the term 'scratch guitar' as a genre of music. They released an album called "Rebel Music" in 2004. 2.
