Applecore is eight years old. They require guidance and positive role models so that they can someday grow up to be a productive member of society. They play punk rock power pop, but also like to play video games, watch movies, read (comic books), color, play with toys, eat (poorly), bathe (with each other), and consume copious amounts of alcohol (as mentioned, they need positive role models). Applecore resides in Bloomington, Indiana and have jobs which they all hope to quit. They drive a van that scares children and write music that scares adults.

JUDI CHICAGO exists in a parallel universe where beef burgers can rap and alcho-pop whippets puke neon hues over the pavements of the weekend. Since 2006 the wicked duo of multi-instrumentalists Travis Thatcher and British-born ATL transplant Benjamin Coleman have concocted their surreal blend of acid house, futurist disco, the whooping and clattering of art-punk and psychedelic rock and the rhythm and grind of ragga, jungle and UK garage.

The Jurby Mountain Daredevils
Swamp music from the plains of the deep north of the Isle of Man. All the way from Jurby. The home of the cabbage! The only band from the Mountains of Jurby. Occaisionally performing as a nine/ten piece band (inc.Brass), the band members are all from the north of the Island. The name 'Jurby Mountain Daredevils' was chosen to reflect this. It also gives an opportunity for smart alecs to point out that there are in fact no mountains in Jurby.
The band play simple music deliberatley to allow for the addition of guest musicians without the need for rehearsals.

In the Melbourne music scene, it seems musical fashions and trends change almost as often as the weather. Everafter
Everafter was an Emo punk band originating out of Greensboro, North Carolina. They formed in the fall of 2000, got signed shortly after, released their first (and only) album Fading Into Bright on October 29, 2002 and broke up in 2003. Remaining members are now in the band Farewell. There was also a band in Buffalo, NY called Everafter. They were primarily a Beatles cover band that played in the fall of 1981.

The Black Sea
The Black Sea was formed from the ashes of Frodus in 2002 when Frodus's Shelby Cinca and Jason Hamacher decided to continue playing together. At the time they recruited Fugazi bassist Joe Lally to play bass. At the time they weren't sure on if the musical endeavor would go beyond just playing music. In February 2002, Hamacher left for a 3 month excursion to Eastern Europe and Turkey after recording drum tracks for the pair.
