Israel

Israel Ka'ano'i Kamakawiwo'ole was born May 20, 1959 to Henry (aka Tiny) KaleiAloha Naniwa Kamakwiwo`ole Jr. and Evangeline Leinani (Keale) Kamakawiwo`ole. He lived the first 10 years of his life in Palolo Valley on O'ahu. Then the family moved to Makaha. He started playing music with his older brother Skippy when he was just 11 years old. But that isn't surprising, as Israel came from a musical family. His uncle is Moe Keale, a living legend in Hawai.

Judi Chicago

JUDI CHICAGO exists in a parallel universe where beef burgers can rap and alcho-pop whippets puke neon hues over the pavements of the weekend. Since 2006 the wicked duo of multi-instrumentalists Travis Thatcher and British-born ATL transplant Benjamin Coleman have concocted their surreal blend of acid house, futurist disco, the whooping and clattering of art-punk and psychedelic rock and the rhythm and grind of ragga, jungle and UK garage.

Showcase

Ex local Maryland Band. Unfortunately, they've been broken up for about 4 years now. Showcase's music does not fit into any one particular genre of rock, so they refer to their sound as being "NEOP rock". NEOP rock is described by Martin as "punk without the powerchords, emo without the whining, pop without the crappiness, and modern rock without sounding like everything else on the radio." By combining influences from these and other genres, Showcase has a very original driving rock sound that cannot be heard anywhere else.

Latterman

Latterman was a four-piece band from Long Island, NY, formed in 2000. They played a style of melodic punk rock with shouted dual-vocals by Phil Douglas and Matt Canino, with songs often containing political and/or socially-conscious lyrics. The band has been compared to the likes of Against Me!, The Lawrence Arms, and Hot Water Music. Since their split in 2007, members have most recently been heard playing in Shorebirds, Bridge and Tunnel, Laura Stevenson and the Cans, Iron Chic, RVIVR and The Brass.

Jester Acoustics

Originally starting as a group of friends wanting to start a band who knew they were not the best musicians but still wanted to have fun with it. But that failed... damn Morrissons and Mustafa stealing our bassist :P It then changed to guitar lessons from Hogie to Kyle. Which with awesome chemistry and a shit lot of practice has turned in to a little two piece acoustic band. Although we are still looking to develop back in to a full band its still dandy just being us two. Both of us playing Acoustics with singing from Hogie. We know we aren't the best around but tbh we don't care :D
