Spazzys are an all-girl punk band formed in 2000 in Melbourne, Australia. They received strong support from Melbourne community radio station 3RRR, before being picked up by popular youth radio station Triple J. They released their debut album Aloha! Go Bananas! in 2004, with singles Paco Doesn't Love Me, Hey Hey Baby and My Boyfriend's Back all charting. They are a constant in the live music scene in Melbourne and have toured nationally several times, often playing festivals such as the Big Day Out.

Was the lead singer in the Australian band of the 1990s - Frente! from Melbourne, and later found success with Splendid. Her debut solo album Grounded Bird was released in 2007.

Bertie Blackman’s first encounter with her artistic self came as a child sashaying across her mother and father’s paint strewn studio floor. The daughter of iconic Australian artist Charles Blackman, not many musicians can boast a foundation of emotional expression like Bertie.

Bertie first stepped onto the scene with ‘Headway’ (2004), her folk-inspired debut album. The single ‘Favourite Jeans’ became Bertie’s radio breakthrough and saw her dubbed “Australia’s underground queen”.

Whether it is her soulful voice,her charismatic nature or exotic looks, she has become a legendary Australian icon over the past twenty-five years. A woman widely respected not only by the music industry, but also for her ability to juggle an abundance of other roles. From television appearances (Dancing with the Stars, It Takes Two, Who Do You Think You Are), to charity work (Ambassador for the National Breast Cancer Foundation), to motherhood (her daughter Gypsy is now 5).
