James Blundell

James Blundell (born December 8, 1964) is an Australian country music singer. Blundell's first album, in 1989, was a self-titled effort, followed up by "Hand It Down", which was released in the United States in 1990 following its success in Australia.
Successive albums were This Road and Touch of Water. This Road included the hit "Way Out West", with James Reyne.
Since, Blundell has released several more albums, each meeting with more success than the last.

Mission Control

Melbourne, Australia based quartet who play distortion drenched shoegaze taking cues from My Bloody Valentine, The Stone Roses, Sonic Youth and Deerhunter. A story that is sure to be blown out of proportion before Mission Control's career is over, is how they got to know renowned French producer Phillipe Zdar (Cassius): the story goes that Zdar added a song by the band to his Myspace page, unbeknown to the band, before contacting them and lavishing his praises on their sound. Zdar is now rumoured to be producing the bands debut album later this year.

Tim Freedman

Tim Freedman is a well reknowned Australian musician. Tim is the key singer/songwriter for The Whitlams, the piano his instrument of choice. Hunters & Collectors were an Australian Rock band, formed in 1981 in Melbourne, who were originally influenced by German experimentalists like Can and later leaning more towards popular rock. Taking their name from a Can song, the band was formed by Mark Seymour (guitar, vocals), John Archer (bass), Doug Falconer (drums), Geoff Crosby (keyboards), Greg Perano (percussion), Ray Tosti-Gueira (guitar), and Robert Miles (sound engineer and art director, considered a full member).

Faker

Faker is an Australian alternative rock band, formed in Sydney in 1996. The band consists of vocalist Nathan Hudson, drummer Evan Mannell, guitarist Nic Munnings, and bassist Ash Moss. Their touring keyboardist is Dizzi de Cazz. The band has released two studio albums, and despite forming in 1996, Faker's first studio album Addicted Romantic, was only released in 2005. Prior to that, the band played multiple local gigs, and also released two EPs. In 2007, Faker became a mainstream success with their second album, Be the Twilight, and went on to continue touring nationally.

Blood Duster

Blood Duster are a five piece grind/death/stoner rock band from Melbourne, Australia, known for their fast and heavy musical style. The band are currently enjoying some semi-mainstream success after their self-titled Blood Duster album and an appearance at the annual Big Day Out festival. The band's first offering, Yeest, was a straightforward grindcore album. The follow up album, Str8 Outta Northcote was a southern-flavored stoner rock album. The band's third album, Cunt was a more intense and true-to-its-roots offering, with rhythmic bluesy metal guitars and heavy drumwork.
