New York composer and vocalist Christine Hoberg will return with her fourth self-released LP, World Within, on 09.13.13. The follow-up to her 2011 Moonlight Never Shined So Bright this new album was recorded in Christine's Brooklyn home with an analog forefront. "This album is about my fascination with worlds that exist within each other. I have very vivid dreams. We rest ourselves and awake in another world for hours each day. We spin on a tiny globe and can see the stars and forget that we are looking through a darkening atmosphere at suns that are much greater than ours.
A Lot Like Birds
A Lot Like Birds is a 6-8 piece progressive rock/post-hardcore outfit from Sacramento, CA, formed in September 2009, known for their tendency to experiment with several diverse genre influences and their incorporation of orchestral and ambient sound-scapes contrasted by chaotic, schizophrenic episodes. On January 9th of 2011, A Lot Like Birds announced that Kurt Travis (Ex of Dance Gavin Dance, Five Minute Ride, No Not Constant, and O! The Joy) would be the new singer and second front-man, alongside Cory Lockwood.

Melbourne-based Laura Jean has been gracing Australian stages for many years. Invitations to share them have come from overseas artists such as Mark Kozelek (ex-Red House Painters) Richard Buckner, M. Ward, Faun Fables, Tuck and Patti, and Australian acts like Augie March, Ben Lee, Claire Bowditch, Machine Translations, Gaslight Radio, and Sarah Blasko. Her first E.P, 'The Hunter's Ode' (2003) was embraced by community radio and street press across the country, as well as Triple J. The title track is apparently still sometimes heard late at night.
DC Cardwell
DC Cardwell grew up in Northern Ireland and spent some years in Vancouver, Canada, before moving to Melbourne, Australia, where he is now based. He records his songs in his home studio, playing all the instruments and singing all the parts.
