GONN came to be in the summer of 1966, when a group from KEOKUK, IOWA, found itself in need of new blood. Here's how that went: CRAIG MOORE had been hanging out with and being general flunky for a Keokuk band called The Gallows, but when guitarist Dennis Chamberlain suggested Craig learn bass and join, he was too paranoid to take make the leap, despite having a major urge, like 1000's of other teenage boys, to be in a band, thanks to THE BEATLES.

Alan Price

Alan Price (born April 19, 1942 in Fatfield, County Durham, England) is a musician, songwriter, and actor.

A self-taught musician, primarily a keyboard player, he was educated at Jarrow Grammar School, South Tyneside, and was a founding member of the Tyneside group The Alan Price Rhythm and Blues Combo, then renamed The Animals. His playing on their international hit "House of the Rising Sun" and other tracks was a key element in the Animals' success. His arrangement of "House of the Rising Sun," a traditional folk song, has become more recognisable than previous incarnations.

Love

There are several artists that go by the name of Love: 1. An American psychedelic rock group formed in Los Angeles in 1965. They were led by singer, songwriter and guitarist Arthur Lee (March 7, 1945 - August 3, 2006) and the group's second songwriter, guitarist Bryan Maclean (September 25, 1946 - December 25, 1998). One of the first racially diverse American pop bands, their music reflected a remarkable array of influences, combining elements of rock and roll, garage rock, folk, showtunes and psychedelia.

Thee Attacks

Thee Attacks are a rock band hailing from Aalborg in the Northern part of Denmark who have since relocated to Copenhagen. Terry, Johnny and Jimmy are founding members and in 2008 Ritchie joined. Thee Attacks play rock n' roll with soulful vocals complemented by a '65-era, Townshend-inspired guitarist. Grammy Award-winning producer Liam Watson (record producer) has produced their debut album and has also had his hands on their second album - due on the backend of the summer of 2012

The Move

The Move evolved from several mid 1960s Birmingham based groups, including Carl Wayne & The Vikings, The Nightriders & The Mayfair Set. The group's name seems to refer to the move various members of these bands made to form the group. Beside Roy Wood, the original members of the Move were drummer Bev Bevan, bassist Chris "Ace" Kefford, vocalist Carl Wayne & guitarist Trevor Burton. Their first single, 'Night of Fear' was released in 1966 and was the first in a line of memorable hits penned chiefly by Roy Wood.

Lou Donaldson

Lou Donaldson (born 1926) is a ist, born in Badin, North Carolina. He is best known for his soulful, bluesy approach to the alto , although in his formative years he was, as many were of the era, heavily influenced by Charlie Parker's improvisational approach. His first recordings were with emissaries Milt Jackson and Thelonious Monk in 1952, and lead several small groups with other luminaries such as er Blue Mitchell, pianist Horace Silver and the indomitable skinsman, Art Blakey.
