1) Congregation is a two piece blues and R&B band from London From Myspace: "Hailing from the New Cross bedsit scene looking like a couple of gangsters from the depression era, Congregation have lately been injecting the Blues and R&B genre with a heavy dose of class and soul. Benjamin Prosser (Slide Guitar, Bass drum) and Victoria Yeulet (Vocals, Leg Bells) play the kind of raw, slinky and seductive blues that have the power to restore one's faith in the genre.

Clare & the Reasons

Clare and the Reasons call Brooklyn home, but after touring around the world extensively for their first two albums with Van Dyke Parks, My Brightest Diamond, and on their own, they needed a new setting – one that would make them see and hear differently. For 8 months in 2011 they lived in an apartment on Berlin’s Bergstrasse, on the western edges of what used to be the East. They got a 1968 Schwalbe moped – model KR-51 – and sped around the city at a velocity the congested New York streets would have prohibited.

Birdengine

Birdengine is the name Mr Lawry Joseph Tilbury chooses to make music with. He hails from the Dorset countryside and began making music as a child. Venturing at night into the fields and forests surrounding his childhood home, with a broken nylon guitar, a record player and a couple of carefully scratched and doctored records, performing his ramshackle and melancholy sound for only himself, the woodland creatures and the moon.

After years of writing and performing together in the drunken brewery town of Burton-Upon-Trent both guitar players parted ways as Jacob left for art school in Cornwall and Tom set off to travel across Europe. The pair would re-unite years later on the south-eastern shores of the UK and the creative Mecca of Brighton.

American Music Club

American Music Club (often abbreviated AMC) is a San Francisco-based band led by singer-songwriter Mark Eitzel. They've been recording and playing in SF clubs since the mid 1980's, showing a remarkable longevity for a band that has been far more critically acclaimed than financially successful. Although born in California, frontman Mark Eitzel spent his formative years in Great Britain and Ohio before returning to the Bay Area in 1980.
