David "Honeyboy" Edwards

Edwards was born in 1915 in the Mississippi delta. He is the last living "origional" delta bluesman. In the 1930s he heard and met figures such as Tommy Johnson, Charley Patton and he was with Robert Johnson on the night he died in 1938. Edwards is the real deal, he learnt off the greats and is one of the greats and he still tours today.

Makoto Ozone

Makoto Ozone (小曽根真; born March 25, 1961 in Kobe) is a Japanese jazz pianist. He began playing organ at two and by seven was an improviser. He appeared on Japanese television with his father from 1968 to 1970. At twelve he switched to piano after being impressed by albums by Oscar Peterson. In 1980 he entered the Berklee College of Music and later worked with Gary Burton. He also had his debut in 1983 before returning to his native Japan. Citation:

Katie Buckhaven is a female British singer-songwriter. She gained popularity after BBC Radio 2 DJ Michael Parkinson started to play her track "Lavender Eyes" on his influential Sunday morning show. Katie first picked up a guitar at the age of seven. Inspired by her parents' varied collection of country, jazz and folk records, she began to write her first songs. she was soon performing on a regular basis.

Brian Blade

Brian Blade (born 1970 in Shreveport, Louisiana) is an American jazz drummer and composer. Brian made his first appearances as a sideman with pianist Brad Mehldau, Joshua Redman, Kenny Garrett, and continued to work as a sideman with other musicians commonly known as "young lions." As a leader, he has released three albums - Fellowship, Perceptual, and most recently, Season of Changes, his Verve Music Group debut. Season of Changes has received rave reviews and continues to grow in popularity.
