Some sources believe that Williams is the long-lost brother of Screamin' Jay Hawkins, a blues musician whose song "I Put A Spell On You" landed on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll charts.

Purple Rhinestone Eagle is a 3 piece rock band from Portland, OR. The members are Andrea Genevieve (guitar and vocals), Morgan Ray Denning (bass and backing vocals) and Ashley Spungin (drums, percussion, backing vocals). The band met and formed in West Philadelphia in the summer of 2005 and quickly gained a dedicated following in the local independent music scene for their powerful performances.
