Richard Swift

Singer/songwriter Richard Swift's lo-fi, sepiatone style harkens back to the tin pan alley era. Born in 1977, the California native spent his youth locked in his room with a four-track recorder, a device that, along with a computer, he continues to utilize to this day. Influenced by everyone from Bob Dylan to early seventies dub acts like the Congos and Lee Perry, he has provided keyboards for shoegazeers Starflyer 59 and released two records of his own, Walking Without Effort and the Novelist, both of which were reissued on Secretly Canadian as a double album in 2005.

Win Win

Win Win is the new project from XXXchange and Devlin (of Devlin and Darko—Spank Rock’s tour DJs). “RELEASERPM” is its first single, it features Lizzi Bougatsos of Gang Gang Dance, and works as a sort of parallel to the direction GGD have been moving in since St. Dymphna was released. XXXchange has tapped into the deep-root weirdness of that record, but have made it leaner and focused over time.

Little Things

Henry served a three year Indie apprenticeship with Haircut Records' Carpet Ministry and it was at their Christmas show at the Rhythm Factory in December 2005 that he met James who impressed him with his knowledge of the Scottish Indie scene and asked him what he was doing for the rest of his life.
James was a bit of catch; Henry had seen him before once at the Mean Fiddler when he was holding down the bass end of 'The Dancing Bears' and had always known he was the one.

Bachelorette

Bachelorette is the solo delivery vehicle for New Zealand based home recording tinkerer Annabel Alpers, with a little help from her friends Andrea Holmes (ex Fang) and local legend Mick Elborado. Annabel's music career started out venting Christchurch teen frustration in a "beginner indie" band called Mouse. Fortunately, things soon got better. She graduated to keys, guitars and vocals in the much underrated Hawaii Five-O, who were popular in Christchurch for their psychedelic surf sounds and country tinged old school rock‚n‚roll.

"We bring you Spectral Park’s debut full-length under the auspices of pop brainchild Luke Donovan, who played all of the music (and records) on the record. These are songs borne from the trash, literally sourced from a box of records the Southampton multi-instrumentalist found on a walk by a council block’s curbside garbage.
