Esiotrot

Esiotrot, formed in late 2003/early 2004, is a seven-piece band from Brighton, UK. They have officially released one LP (Schmesiotrot) and two EPs (Esio Trot, Esiotrotsky). Although the band's line-up is always expanding, their sound is increasingly intimate, erudite and charming. They have drawn comparisons to Pavement, The Velvet Underground, Hefner, and numerous other staples of indie rock. Esiotrot has performed with Jens Lekman, Danielson, Los Campesinos!, Pants Yell! and I'm From Barcelona (among others).

Doggy

Doggy are a French tweepop band influenced by the sound of Sarah, Matinée, and The Subway Organization. They were formed in 2003 by Guillaume Bassard, formerly of Caramel. Doggy's albums - the solo project Des Stars Dans Tous les Bus (2003) and the more band-oriented Mon Colonel (2009) - were released by Anorak Records.

1.Bonginkosi Dlamini, aka Zola, is a South African poet, actor, and kwaito musician. He also presents Zola 7, a television show named for him, on SABC 1.
Born in the Soweto ghettos of Johannesburg, South Africa, Dlamini spent his formative years in one of the roughest and notorious ghettos around, Zola, hence his name. Unemployment, alcoholism, and single parent families are the norm in Zola.

Cocosuma

Cocosuma is a electronica band from Paris. Their albums, published at Third Side Records have met both critical and public acclaim. Some of their tracks are picked for lounge or trip hop compilations. Cocosuma gained some fame in 2005 with the French mini-series Clara Sheller for which their song The Servant was the end credits. Finally, they've changed their mind.
After a debut album boldly entitled 'I refuse to grow up' which got them very impressive reviews...

Cats on Fire

Cats on fire was formed late 2001 in Vaasa, Finland. Since 2004, the group consists of Mattias Björkas (vocals, acoustic guitar), Ville Hopponen (electric guitar), Kenneth Höglund (bass guitar) and Henry Ojala (drums). They are currently based in Turku, Finland. In 2003, CoF released a vinyl single, Solid work 2004, saw the release of another one, Happiness is Chemistry. The first proper CD release came all too late, in summer 2006.

The Pipettes

The Pipettes are Gwenno, Ani and Beth. They are a traditional girl pop group from Brighton, England. All of the girls are singers in the group with Gwenno occasionally taking to the keyboard. The Pipettes and their backing band, The Cassette, formed at a seaside party in Brighton in 2003 and have since wowed audiences with their trademark polka dot dresses, doowop anthems and choreographed hand movements.

Amateurs

1) Amateurs were formed in 2003 in Scotland by Seth Chanas. Seth was always making up funny little songs on whatever musical instruments he could get his hands on and discovered a talent for quickly mastering them. By the age of 14 Seth found himself playing in most of the bands in his home town, at one point as many as five at once. After playing in a succession of other peoples' rock bands, Seth found it hard to find musicians who shared his vision of a band where ethos and logos were as important as pathos and that properly rendered...
