The Swing Movement

"The Swing Movement formed September 2006 on the brow of Ilkley moor out of the ashes of various juvenile projects. Merely a year later the band had toured Belgium, played Leeds Festival and sold out shows at local Leeds/Bradford venues such as The Cockpit and The Love Apple. Since then they have reached new levels. 2008 saw them play the In The City festival in Manchester, support a host of acts ranging from Yeasayer to Team Waterpolo and an airing on one of Match of the Days esteemed montages.

Ali Whitton

Ali Whitton is a 27 year old singer songwriter. Ali has released two albums and recently one EP. His newest release was the iTunes / digital EP entitled "Ghosts (that Are Not Ghosts)" in June 2010. Ali worked hard in the last seven years but has always been overlooked by the lucky break that could push him into the consciousness of the indie masses. Feeling a little trampled on by the modern world, he plans a retreat and some time away from music. In September 2010 he is returning to his birthplace of New Zealand to find perspective and breathe fresher air.

Printed Circuit

Printed Circuit is a pseudonym of Claire Broadley, a musician from Leeds, UK. She began making music as a solo artist in June 1999, aged 19. During the next five years, she released records on labels like Tigerbeat6, Elefant, 555 and her own label, Catmobile. Her influences are continually taken from diverse sources, most obviously from the Acorn Electron computer games of her youth, but the only real constant is her own ability to tessellate simple melodies into far more complex compositions. A forthcoming album can be pre-ordered at PledgeMusic.com.
