The Stowaways

There are at least four artists by this name. 1) The Stowaways are a four-piece Indie/Rock/Pop band from London, UK. After their first Single Release in December '09, accompanied by a series of live performances concluding at the O2 Academy, Islington, London, singer Jamie Mortimer, lead guitarist Rudi Falla, drummer Stevie Crane & bassist Ash Pekel are currently gigging across London & the South-East.

White Rose Movement

White Rose Movement are a post-punk/electro band from London, England. They mix the post-punk style and attitude of early bands of the genre such as Joy Division and The Chameleons with a more new romantic image reminiscent of bands like Duran Duran, Depeche Mode and A Flock of Seagulls, as well as more modern electroclash and post-punk revival influences. Their first album Kick was released April 17, 2006, after a long period of media hype and critical acclaim from the British indie music press.

Echo & the Bunnymen

Echo & the Bunnymen are a British post-punk band formed in Liverpool in 1978. The original line-up consisted of Ian McCulloch (of The Crucial Three), Will Sergeant and Les Pattinson. There are many stories, probably apocryphal, that the quartet was completed by a drum machine known as "Echo". By the time of their debut album, 1980's Crocodiles - a moderate UK hit - the drum machine had been replaced by Pete de Freitas.

Pollyester

POLLYester, founded in 2007, is a disco-wave duo from Munich. Polly Ester aka Polly Lapkovskaja (bass, vocals) is a musician at the Munich Chamber Theater, a member of the bands Kamerakino, The MiSHIMA and Convertible, and organizer of various club events (ZOMBOCOMBO; koshka valerianka). Drummer Yossarian (also vocals) alias Manuel da Coll has studied music and is also a member of LaBrassBanda. Together they play a sort of Dada-Funk with heavy bass and erratic vocals, influenced by and bands like Maximum Joy and ESG.

The Virgins

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) The Virgins are an American indie rock band formed in 2005 based in New York City, New York. They have toured with Jet and opened for Sonic Youth and Patti Smith. The Virgins were formed after a Ryan McGinley photo shoot brought together Donald Cumming and Wade Oates to work on tracks Cumming had begun. The two other members joined shortly after; Erik Ratensperger, and Nick Ackerman. The Virgins have gained popularity recently due to the CW show Gossip Girl featuring five of their songs in one episode and recent participation in SXSW.

The Invisible

Towards the end of 2006, three friends – Dave Okumu (Jade Fox, Matthew Herbert), Tom Herbert (Jade Fox, Polar Bear) and Leo Taylor (Gramme, Zongamin, Matthew Herbert) – started work on what was initially intended as Dave’s solo project. An exciting, beautiful album gradually emerged and during the process of its creation the three Londoners fused into a fully-fledged trio; The Invisible was born.
