Meatpacker

Meatpacker is solo project from Leicester intended to express the horror of the meat industry and the capitalist society which upholds it.
Through DIY label Samizdat Records Meatpacker has released a split tape with Citizen Snips and a CD of early demos entitled Demonstrations in Cruelty.
A split tape tape with Jimmy Two Eyes is near completion and new recordings are in the pipeline.
Meatpacker has recently been working with vocalist for live performances and is looking to play shows across the UK.

Battletorn

Battletorn started off as a trio, born in 2004, in NYC. Originially consisting of Beverly on vox, Omid on guitar and Will on drums, the band met, practiced, created 7 songs and less than a week later, played their first show. Weeks after that, their first release surfaced. By the end of 2005, Beverly left the band leaving just Omid to play guitar and "sing" and Will still playing drums. The first album with the two piece line-up, 'Terminal Dawn', was released mid-April, 2007. At the end of the summer of 2007 Omid moved to Nashville, but the 1000 miles apart failed to stop the band.

There are at least three artists with this name: 1) Australian Heavy Metal Band (1981 ~ Present) Taipan are a 3 piece from Melbourne that has helped pioneer Heavy metal in Australia.
Their first e.p Breakout, sold 10,000 copies in Europe and the band has a strong worldwide fan base.They reformed in 2007 to record Stonewitch and have another album Flamethrower that has just been released & will be available on itunes shortly.

Sick Fix

Sick Fix is a hardcore band from Washington D.C. They are part of a semi-recent resurgence of fast straight edge hardcore punk coming from the DC/MD area. They are influenced heavily both by 90's powerviolence such as Infest, and late 80's youth crew such as Youth Of Today and Judge. Although the band has only been a band for a short while they already have a strong fanbase in both D.C. and Baltimore and are notorious for their live performances.

Further info: 2) Heartless is a hard rock/hair metal band formed in Tampa in the late 80s and performed together for several years. Through the later 90s, the band transformed and became 'Kenne McGey and Lefty' and are still active in local Tampa scene.
