Sonny Black

In 2002 Bushido released the album "Carlo, Cokxxx, Nutten" under his pseudonym, Sonny Black (arguably in the same manner as Eminem), in which he worked with Fler. The name would appear to be a nod towards his American musical influence; in that country, Sonny Black was the mafia nickname of notorious Bonanno crime family mobster Dominick Napolitano. In 2003 he released the solo album Vom Bordstein bis zur Skyline. It was an enormous success for what was still basically an underground release.

Samsara Blues Experiment

Samsara Blues Experiment are a Berlin based band, founded in Summer 2007 by leadguitarist/singer Christian Peters. They went through several changes in the first period but are in constant line-up since September 2008 featuring Hans Eiselt (guitar), drummer Thomas Vedder and Richard Behrens (bass). As the band name implies, three elemental aspects are to notice - the blues as the foundation where it all comes from, the inclusion of spiritual influences accompanied by Indian/raga music and the experimental approach to mix up varied elements in a convincing manner.

Artist Type:

Reds

There are three artists by this name. (1) Born in the spring of 2004, REDS brings together four individuals with disparate backgrounds in a way that both creates tension and finds harmony. Their individual roots are recognizable .. but find balance and unity within the songs... the songs fly along at furious speeds, rarely letting up, and never losing their intensity. The lyrics, mostly shouted and screamed but occasionally sung, strive to pointedly connect the personal and political - showing clear anger and frustration yet never letting go of positivity and optimism.
