Innovative. Progressive. Sophisticated Urban. Green Street is a hip-hop/jazz group, consisting of emcees A-live and Soupa and producer Renaissance. Originally from Boston, MA and now residing in Brooklyn, NY, they are always trying to push the boundaries of hip-hop music. By using everything from samples to live instrumentation, Green Street brings back the sound from the Native Toungues-era while still keeping it fresh and relevant for today

Gringo

There are more than 1 artists with the name Gringo: 1 - Gringo Is a progressive rock band.
They were originally formed in 1968 as 'The Toast'. In the spring of 1970 Toast abandoned the old, tired routine and changed their name to Gringo eager to explore the "new freedoms" offered by the burgeoning progressive movement. In March the following year Gringo signed a deal with MCA to record an album and single. In 1972 the bass player left the band, and even though there were the plans for it, sadly there was to be no follow-up album to their promising debut from the previous year.

A-UP has shared stages with the likes of Mos Def, Canibus, Craig G, Aim, Wordsworth, Punchline, Foreign Beggars, The Herbaliser, Yungun, Mr Thing, DJ Skully, C2C, Dirty Diggers, Harry Love, Mystro, DJ Woody and many more. DJ A-UP is the latest member of The Assmatics crew which is made up of some of Manchester's best DJs and MCs (Mathmatics, Reptile, Danny Drive Thru, Hope, Nanny, Air Adam and myself).
