God God Dammit Dammit

The twelve-piece juggernaut, God God Dammit Dammit has its roots in the punk and metal scene of Adelaide, South Australia. Among others, the band includes members of post-hardcore act, The Rivalry, but that influence doesn't overpower the funk/soul bent that drives the band, the horn section being a huge feature of their sound.

The Meow Meows

The Meow Meows are an eight piece traditional Ska 'n' Roll supergroup from Brighton, UK featuring ex-members of Ska Gal and The Hands Of Ra, Muttly's Dastardly Skam and Out of Luck. Their sound is an amalgamation of 60s garage rock 'n' roll, 80's 2Tone ska and anything else they may feel like chucking in. They formed back in summer 2005 mainly as an excuse to drink on a weeknight, but since then they have played with major international acts including Bad Manners, The Slackers, and The Aggrolites.

Lowrider

There are three bands with the name Lowrider. 1) Emerging onto the Adelaide music scene in late 2003, the foursome met through the city's tight knit music community after playing in different bands. Brothers Paul and John Bartlett aka Papa John and Mr Cee, teamed with Scott Duncan aka Scotty D and Joe Braithwaite to form Lowrider. Their distinct sound has been developed organically drawing from very diverse influences including Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, The Roots, Mos Def and Erykah Badu.
