Aziza Brahim

Aziza is a Saharawi from Western Sahara, born in a refugee camp in Algeria. At the age of 11 Aziza received a schoolarship to study in Cube where she spent seven years, before abandoning her studies in order to dedicate herself to music. She won the first prize in a national song competition in a cultural festival of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic - the self-proclaimed Saharawi state, exiled in the refugee camps and recognized by over 80 countries.

The Mostar Diving Club

The Mostar Diving Club is the solo project from the singer and song writer of Obi, Damian Katkhuda. Published by Chrysalis, The Mostar Diving Club is an outlet for some of Damian's more quirky and unconventional tunes and songs, and a chance for him to experiment with different instruments, unusual arrangements and his trade mark melodies. The songs on his latest offering, "Don Your Suit of Lights" were written in a woodland farmhouse in the south of France, isolated and tranquil, reflecting the mood of this charming debut solo album.

JD and the Longfellows

Short biography JD and the Longfellows formed in 2006. They have released three albums of original folk/skiffle/country music, ‘Confessions’ (2006), 'Happy Hour Again!' (2008) and this summer 'Swinging for England' (2011) - a bit like pass the parcel, but when the music stops who will have your keys? The band have played several UK tours, over 200 gigs (one in France), supported bands such as Alabama 3, as well as clubs such as What's Cookin', Stranger than Paradise, the 12 Bar Club and Gypsy Hotel.

Boo Hewerdine

Boo Hewerdine (b. 1961, London) is an English singer-songwriter. His work includes lead singer and creative force behind The Bible, formed in the 1980s, and reformed in 1994, as well as solo recordings and work for film. He lives in Ely. Hewerdine (born Mark Hewerdine) moved to Cambridge as a child, but returned to London in his late teens, and worked in a record shop. Suffering from agoraphobia, it was not a happy time of his life, and he was fired from his job after being wrongly accused of theft.
