With Stones In His Pockets

With Stones in His Pockets' music ranges from gothic choral acoustic folk to sweeping post-rock soundscapes to bleepy-bloopy disco-desecration. They have so far released two EP’s and an album. The first, Farewell Happy Fields, an eclectic five-tracker; the second, Above Lake Superior has less electronica and more cowbell. Their debut album Falls The Shadow, is a raw, live sounding archive of songs ancient and modern, all written over the past decade. It was finally recorded in an abandoned school, over the course of three days in the summer of 2011.

Brooks Williams

Brooks Williams is a stunning blues-soaked, rhythmic, and soulful guitarist. His musical vision spans continents and genres – blues, slide, swingin’ jazz, fingerstyle – and manifests itself in a hybrid of funky chords, walking bass lines, and fiery leads. With influences as diverse as John Fahey, Michael Bloomfield, and Joseph Spence, it is pleasantly difficult to pin Williams down. He’s a guitarist, a songwriter, and an interpreter.

Iron And Wine

Iron And Wine is the stage and recording name of folk rock singer-songwriter, Samuel Beam. He has released three studio albums, several EPs and singles, as well as a few download-only releases, which include a live album (a recording of his 2005 Bonnaroo performance). Beam was raised in South Carolina before moving to Florida to attend school, but now resides outside of Austin, Texas. The name Iron And Wine is taken from a dietary supplement named "Beef Iron & Wine" that he found in a general store while shooting a film.[1]

Solitary Blossom

Solitary Blossom is a stage name I stole from a line in a Feeder song. Since pseudonyms seem to be the fashion at the moment... and it sounds a bit cooler than Jamie Maidment! I have been writing songs since I left school in 2001 and have been gigging in small holes, mostly around Essex and London, since 2005. I have been known to venture out to places like Edinburgh and Newcastle though... When I play live it is just me and my trusty guitar but thanks to the wonders of multitracking I record full band versions of my songs which end up on this page.

Fenster

There are several artists called Fenster. 1. FENSTER (Bln via NYC) // Formed in 2010 by JJ, a New Yorker, Jonathan, a Berliner, and later completed by percussionist/journalist Lukas FENSTER makes de-constructed pop music, exploring electro acoustic arrangements peppered with traffic noises and bird calls. Their lyrics are often carefully constructed dream narratives, finding inspiration in the world of ghosts, graveyards. trains, religious imagery, and broken machinery. In their music, they build songs around errors, blending melodic chords with broken beats or minimal percussion.
