Karen Matheson
Karen Matheson born on 11 February 1963. She grew up in the small village of Taynuilt in Argyll, Scotland. She is widely renowned for her clear vocals and being the first artist to have a hit in Gaelic, having learned the language as an adult. She is the lead singer in Capercaillie. Her husband Donald Shaw sings with her in the group.
She was awarded an OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) in the 2006 New Year's honours list.

Travis
1. Travis is a Scottish indie/britpop band founded in Glasgow in 1990, composed of Fran Healy (vocals, guitar), Dougie Payne (bass, vocals), Andy Dunlop (guitar, piano) and Neil Primrose (drums). They have had a number of very successful albums to date: Good Feeling (1997), The Man Who (1999), The Invisible Band (2001), 12 Memories (2003), The Boy With No Name (2007), as well as a compilation album titled Singles (2004). Their most recent album is Ode To J. Smith, released on 29 September, 2008.
Bob Delyn A'R Ebillion
Bob Delyn a'r Ebillion are a Welsh folk-rock band fronted by poet, bard, singer and harpist Twm Morys. Their songs are sung in Welsh, with several in Breton (singer Nolwenn Korbell also features on two of their albums), strongly influenced by traditional songs and legends, but with an original, fresh take. This is also evident in the music, a unique mix of contemporary rhythms and instruments, with strong presence of Celtic harp and haunting sax.
They have released four albums, Sgwarnogod Bach Bob (Bob's Little Hares), Gwbade Bach Cochlyd (Little Red Faces), Gedon and Dore.
Dan Gilliver
Dan Gilliver is an exciting addition to the southern UK singer-songwriter scene. After being the vocalist for the Birmingham-based metalcore/post hardcore band Pray For Divinity for nearly 4 years, and after recently parting ways with Winchester ambient metal band Echoes as their clean vocalist, Dan decided to put his full focus into his songwriting to produce some beautiful acoustic tracks such as his debut single "Gone But Never Far".

In 2010, California native Ed Prosek brought his original flavor of orchestral folk music to Brighton.

Mustard and the Monocle
Currently based in Wiltshire and Oxford, Mustard and the Monocle formed in July 2010, eventually settling on the name after brief spells under the monikers 'Captain Bringmedown and the Pessimistic Starship', 'Whoa! That's My Tail' and 'Wooden Leg, Real Foot'. Drummer Simon Small joined the indie/folk project after his brother Jamie (bass) and frontman James Devine combined the punk and indie roots of their previous bands with more recent folk influences to produce the energetic, harmony filled sound of Mustard and the Monocle.
Carolyn Hester
Carolyn Hester (b. 1937, Waco, Texas) was an important figure of the early '60s folk revival, singing traditional material in the manner similar to that of later chanteuses such as Joan Baez and Judy Collins.
Joe Volk
Based in Bristol and signed to Invada Records UK as a solo artist.... Also the singer with G O N G A (gonga.co.uk). His debut solo album 'Derwent Waters Saint' was produced by Adrian Utley (Portishead) and is out now in the UK... Joe is also the vocalist with the band 'Crippled Black Phoenix'.
