Black Flag

Black Flag is an American band formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, California, United States, largely the brainchild of Greg Ginn, the guitarist, primary songwriter and sole continuous member through multiple personnel changes. Keith Morris was their original lead singer. He left the band suddenly in 1979 to form the well-known band, Circle Jerks. Ron Reyes was the second singer for the band, but decided to leave the band not too long after. Dez Cadena would be their next singer, but switched to second guitar when they found fourth and final singer Henry Rollins in Washington D.

Rachid Taha

Rachid Taha (Arabic: رشيد طه) (born 1958) is a French-Algerian musician. His music is influenced by many different styles such as rock, techno, and raï. Taha was born in Oran, Algeria. His father was a factory worker. Taha's family immigrated to France in 1968. While working in a heating appliance factory in the late 1970s, Taha founded Les Refoulés ("The Rejects"), a nightclub where he would spin mashups of Arabic pop classics over Led Zeppelin, Bo Diddley, and Kraftwerk backbeats.

The Johnsons

There are three bands called 'The Johnsons'. One is a UK based surf/punk/rock act who describe themselves as: "Dirty, dirty rock ‘n’ rollers from Basingstoke.
Always ready to make ya shake ya sleazy stuff and have ya dribbling, drooling and bleeding from every orifice."
The second one's a Skate/Punk Band from Champ City, Canada.
'Till today they released two LPs, including "Gypsies For Life" (2006) which was quickly winning over hearts of critics and fans everywhere'.

The Separation

There are three bands with this name. 1. The Separation formed in 2004 and are based in Bromley, UK. They play a furious marriage of post-hardcore riffage to pop-laden hooks, and have been compared to Rise Against and Billy Talent by national magazine Rocksound. There are more than one band with the name Upstairs. 1. a female fronted rock/pop band from Orlando, Florida. In 2003, they released their debut album "Casualties of Uncertainty". 2. an all-girl punk band from Japan. In 2009, they released their debut album "Tres Chicas Punks". 3.Garage rock band from Russia. On 13 may 2010 lead drummer Philip Gorbachev announced that he was leaving Upstairs and disbanding it.

Resolution 242 is a 4 peice punk band from the UK. Most of their songs are about controvesial subjects such as aminal rights, human rights, anti-fascism, anti-war ect.
Many of their songs have a ska/reggae influence, many do not. They are very honest about their music and do not claim to have all of the answers to these problems. They are simply trying to raise awareness about these issues.

Pulse are an alternative rock band from south east England. They are a young band in comparison to most, all being in there teenage years. The band was formed in East Sussex in 2010, and are dedicated to their music. The band comprises of Vocalist/ Guitarist James Jenkins, Drummer Callum Parker and Bassist Seif O'Reilly. They take influence from bands such as Blink 182, Green Day, Yellowcard, Nickelback and many others, including Led Zeppelin and other classic rock bands.
