Melodic Death Metal

Traces are a symphonic black metal band with some death metal influences from Reading, UK. With the success of their demo track Vivisection they have managed to secure a deal with Siege Of Amida Records and are due for the release of their debut album sometime in 2008.

In late 2004, Tobias Weinreich (Bass), Sebastian Scherrer (Keyboards), Marco Schomas (Vocals) and Simon Schillinger (Guitar) founded Finsterforst. They were still seeking more members however, so instead concentrated purely on songwriting. As a result, they created many songs without being able to perform them until later on. In spring 2005 the band decided to introduce an accordion player (Johannes Joseph) into the mix, a choice which has helped to shape their unique sound.

F.A.T.E formed from a group of friends with the desire to produce, original, emotional, heavy music, which is accessible to the mainstream but also appealing to the thriving hardcore scene. With 3 EPs all of which Sold out within days of release, they have received outstanding reviews and interest from music industry professionals. With a live performance music video already under their belt, F.A.T.E are visually one of the most exciting live acts currently working the UK scene.

Cromlech was a Melodic Death Metal band in the vein of Eucharist's A Velvet Creation but continued to build on their own sound to develop their own brand of Melodic Death with their following Promo and then last EP, The Vulture Tones. The sound exhibitied in those two releases after "And Darkness Fell" (1996) was much more elaborate now mixing in more elements of straight death metal as well as hints of black metal.
