He added Bob Strudwick and later replaced him with Jerome Clegg. Ramleh recorded some of the earliest, and heaviest examples of power electronics with many releases and live performances, including the classic "Return to Slavery" album. The original phase of the band ended in 1984.

Ist

1. ist History ist was formed in March 2001, the original line-up consisting of Kenton Hall, Jack Bomb, Detroit Robbins and Mark "Flash" Haynes. The original line-up toured extensively throughout the UK following the releases of The Adult Tree EP in 2001 and the album Freudian Corduroy in 2003. The year 2004 saw setbacks for ist. Lead guitarist and contributing lyricist Jack Bomb left the band to form Vitriol I.D. in August, and in October bassist Detroit Robbins died. The remaining members chose to move forward adding bassist John McCourt.

The Book Club

Sheffield based band featuring Joe Carnall, ex Milburn, as lead singer and songwriter. Ex Arctic Monkeys bassist Andy Nicholson was originally involved, later leaving to work with The Reverend. The Book Club, originally a project of Joe’s where drafting in friends to help out with the recordings was enough it had previously featured ex-milburn members Joe Green and Louis Carnall. Now with four ‘ever-present’ members, Anthony Allen, Patrick Conwill & Thomas Colclough, making up The Book Club and with a nationwide tour under their belts the band is really coming into it’s own.
