There are at least six artists that have used this name: 1. Juno was an American indie rock band formed in Seattle, WA in 1995. They released their debut album This Is the Way It Goes and Goes and Goes on DeSoto Records on March 30, 1999. Their second album A Future Lived in Past Tense was released May 8, 2001. Although their two albums are very paced, steady, slow-burning epics with the occasional explosion of fireworks (hear Leave a Clean Camp and a Dead Fire for a quintessential Juno track)...

N.E.R.D

N.E.R.D (No One Ever Really Dies) is a funk rock, alternative rock and alternative hip hop band formed in 2001. Their music is best described as funk rock, with various other influences, including hip hop, R&B, soul, alternative rock, and blues. Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo met in Virginia Beach, Virginia at the ages of 12 at a summer camp for musicians, which they both disliked. They spent their free time making beats and performing in groups with fellow childhood friend Timbaland. Shay Haley began performing with Williams and Hugo in high school.

South

There are at least two bands that go by this name, one British and one American: 1) South is a London-based trio of talented multi-instrumentalists that defy any one label. Rock, electric, acoustic, folk and orchestral only touch the surface of South's repertoire. Their first album, From Here on In, was released on Mo'Wax. Between this and the next album they supplied the score to Sexy Beast along with UNKLE.

Piano Magic

Piano Magic is Franck Alba, Glen Johnson, Alasdair Steer and Jerome Tcherneyan. Piano Magic was formed in the summer of 1996 by Glen Johnson, Dominic Chennell, and Dick Rance in London, England, as a bedroom-studio project with the intention to base their recordings around a small nucleus and whomever else would like to contribute. Reluctant to perform live, they eventually gave way to label pressure recruiting Paul Tornbohm on the way but pointedly playing none of their released material.

2007 has been a big year for Schadenfreude - Melbourne’s daring dandies of indie-pop and angular post-punk. From playing well received support shows including Canada’s Psycheand Sydney’s Lost Valentinos to wowing Sydneysiders at the Factory during September’s Under The Blue Moon festival, Schadenfreude’s rise rapidly continues. Still to come in 2007 is the launch of their debut single ‘Vertigo’ recorded at Melbourne’s infamous Hothouse Studios...

My Morning Jacket

My Morning Jacket is a rock band which formed in 1998 in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. The band consists of Jim James (vocals, guitar), Carl Broemel (guitar), "Two Tone" Tommy Blankenship (bass), Bo Koster (keyboards) and Patrick Hallahan (drums). The band is best known for their reverb-soaked sound and their enthusiastic live shows. My Morning Jacket is signed with ATO Records. The band's style is a blend of alternative, alt country, folk rock and psychedelic rock.
