TG Collective

The critically acclaimed TG Collective was born in September 2006, bringing together a spirited brew of young, Birmingham-based performers. Based around the much-admired Trio Gitano, this dynamic young ensemble was founded by Jamie Fekete and Sam Slater - two of the three guitars of Trio Gitano, whose debut album Who Ate All The Tapas? dropped in at No.4 in the Sunday Times' Records of the Year.

Tony Humphries

A Brooklyn native, Tony Humphries is one of the most important names in the evolution of House and Garage music. He landed his first professional DJ gig at Manhattan's upper-class Club El Morocco at the tail end of the Disco explosion in 1975. Disco and Dance music fell off the Mainstream radar soon after, but Humphries remained. In 1981 he got his first big break when legendary producer Shep Pettibone requested a Mix Tape from Tony to fill in for a no show on KISS FM NY. The mix he submitted proved a success an he was given his own permanant mix show at the station shortly after.

1) Three indie boys from Spokane, WA. Miguel, K-Jam, and Na$ty Nate were killed in a freak accident on the set of their latest (and unfinished) music video to their final hit song, 'Sexy Baby'. After their deaths, they blogged about reuniting for one final show but when it was time to come on stage, the three boys were too dead to put on a good show. Rivers are currently studying hip-hop science at the Dharma Initiative until they are ready 2 rawk. 2) Croatian female vocal group.

Since their inception, ESG has affected post-punk, no wave, dance-punk, hip-hop, and various styles of dance music such as house. They fell in with the late '70s and early '80s NYC no wave and post-punk scene, they had their music sampled countless times, and they became a playlist staple at '70s and early '80s dance clubs like the Paradise Garage and the Music Box.
