Long Way Home

Long Way Home were an energetic rock band from Ayrshire, Scotland. Formed in early 2009 they have gone from strength to strength attracting rave reviews and building up a large, dedicated following.
In May of that year they won The Burns Showcase for New Bands Competition, Ayrplay, in front of over 500 music lovers at the Burns Festival Club in Ayr. In September 2009 they made history by becoming the first unsigned band to be asked to play 2 consecutive nights at the legendary 100 Club after a blistering performance on their first night.

The Wake

There have been at least 3 bands called The Wake, including a Scottish post-punk band, an American goth band and a Finnish death metal band. 1. The Wake were a Scottish post punk and later indie pop band, founded in Glasgow in 1981 by Gerard “Caesar” McInulty (formerly of Altered Images), Steven Allen and Joe Donnelly, who was later replaced by Bobby Gillespie. Steven’s sister Carolyn Allen soon joined, and remained in the band until its end.

Happy Particles

The Happy Particles began after the release of the second Text Adventure record 'I Believe in Lassies' in late 2007/early 2008, in the west end of Glasgow. Once that was done and dusted, Steven was free to devote his time into putting some of the ideas that he had built up over the last 2 years (under the usual bedroom introspection type circumstances) into properly arranged songs. In doing so he called upon some friends to help him out.

Heavy Smoke

There are two known bands with the name Heavy Smoke. 1. A rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. http://www.myspace.com/heavy-smoke 2. A Finnish NWOFHM band with space rock influences, which you can listen at http://soundcloud.com/heavy-smoke 1. cont. The Scottish band was formed in Glasgow in February 2010. It consists of Stevie Boy Smith Jr. II on vocals, Mr. Stab on guitar, RMB on bass and Iain McFie on drums. Heavy Smoke released their debut E.P, "Take Drugs and Kill People" on July 4th, 2011.

Mike Hastings

Mike Hastings is a guitarist and songwriter from Glasgow who currently plays with Trembling Bells. He also plays alongside Mike Heron of the Incredible string band as well as performing his own solo material. Previously, he was involved with a band called The Pendulums ( which included Lavinia Blackwall from Trembling Bells ) who recorded an album called Moon Mountain and an ep. called New world nova.
