Al Di Meola's highly celebrated career has spanned a wide range of emotions into a unique style embodying the artists world inspired influences. From the velocity and heat of his early solo efforts to the challenge and triumph of the "Di Meola / McLaughlin / De Lucia (Guitar Trio)", from the Brazilian explorations of "Cielo e Terra" and "Soaring Through A Dream" to the global romanticism and Tango inflection of Al's acoustic group "World Synfonia" (self titled debut) and the 2nd "World Sinfonia" recording Heart of the Immigrants.

Los Cenzontles (“The Mockingbirds”) is a Latin Fusion and Roots band, heavily influenced by blues, Tejano music, country music, rock, and traditional Mexican regional music. The band's core members also operate a non-profit arts center, Los Cenzontles Mexican Arts Center, in San Pablo, California. The band, renown for their performances of traditional Mexican music have created an electrifying new fusion sound. The group brings together their musical influences using drums, electric bass, and guitars along side Mexican folk instruments like vihuela, jarana, pandero, and quijada (jawbone).

”Javier Vargas was born in Madrid. When he was nine years old, he and his family moved to Argentina, where his parents had lived during the Spanish Civil War. They lived in Mendoza, San Luis, Buenos Aires and also in Mar del Plata, where he started playing the guitar with young musicians in places such as garages. He took guitar lessons, and he also used to go clubs to listen to groups playing blues live.
