Alejandro Fernandez

Alejandro Fernandez (born April 24, 1971) is a popular Latin Grammy-winning Mexican singer nicknamed as "El Potrillo" ("The Little Colt") by the media and his fans. ] Alejandro originally specialized in traditional, earthy forms of Mexican folk and country music, such as mariachi and ranchera. However, his more recent work has focused on mainstream pop music. He is the son of Vicente Fernández, also a popular Mexican country singer.

Dildo, featuring Paco Familiar and Erik Neville was formed in Mexico City in the late 90s. After playing at discos and parties for over five years, they recorded their debut album Dildo in 2003 on the Antidoto label. Songs like Dixie, Pagarás and Noches de vinil were put into regular rotation on the local radio stations of cities like: Querétaro, Durango, Aguascalientes, Puerto Escondido, Mazatlán, Acapulco, Puebla, Estado de México, Cancún and Cuernavaca.

Los Cenzontles (“The Mockingbirds”) is a Latin Fusion and Roots band, heavily influenced by blues, Tejano music, country music, rock, and traditional Mexican regional music. The band's core members also operate a non-profit arts center, Los Cenzontles Mexican Arts Center, in San Pablo, California. The band, renown for their performances of traditional Mexican music have created an electrifying new fusion sound. The group brings together their musical influences using drums, electric bass, and guitars along side Mexican folk instruments like vihuela, jarana, pandero, and quijada (jawbone).
