Some boys in Florida making beautiful pop songs. Their sound can be described like Stone Roses taking trip through time with the time machine ending up in swinging '60s. If you like the sound of The Clientele, Beachwood Sparks, The Tyde, Talulah Gosh, Stars, you're in the right place. These Americans are the other sons of Sarah Records, with a sound clearly influenced by Field Mice, or even very similar to contemporary bands such as Air France. Horses

There have been four bands who have used the name Horses. The original Horses was a Los Angeles country psych group who released a single record for White Whale Records in 1969. The group was instigated by songwriters John Carter and Tom Gilbert, who had found previous success with the group Strawberry Alarm Clock. Inspiration for Horses came from popular west coast groups such as Moby Grape, Buffalo Springfield and The Byrds, who were taking psychedelic rock and merging it with traditional American musical stylings.
