Spin 2 was founded by ex Barely Works sublime fiddle player Ali Jones and ex Lost T-shirts of Atlantis guitarist, bouzoukier and flautist Chris Rudd.
Spin 2 are described as contemporary folk. They play original songs along side roots based instrumentals with a scintillating "collective energy".

Sparkly, beguiling acoustic pop. Its Rebeccas voice that will hit you first. Rebecca Worthley has been writing songs since she picked up her mums old classical guitar at the age of 16. Surrounded by music in her upbringing, with her pianist father and operatic mother, her many harmony-wielding siblings gave the family a distinct Family Von-Trapp feel. Rebecca was driven to share her music almost as soon as it came into existence and performed at her school, at friend’s weddings and in living rooms across the country.
