the fallen leaves

THE FALLEN LEAVES Their long-held belief that a good idea played badly is better than a bad idea played well, spurred them into action. “That’s right”, they confirm. The Reverend Rob Green (singer) built himself a reputation at Bernie Rhodes’ legendary Club Left.
Rob Symmons (guitar) was the founding member of the original and true version of the Subway Sect.
Gareth Mountbatten Evans (bass) The Prellies.
Ian O'Sullivan (drums) The Aardvarks.

Squire

In June 1978 Anthony Meynell was a songwriter/guitarist with a fistful of sharp '60s inspired pop songs but no band to perform them with. SQUIRE were already an establihed local group performing mainly covers and consisting of Enzo Esposito (bass/vocals), Steve Baker(guitar), and Ross Di'Landa (drums). Meynell talked Esposito into letting him join the band and thus squeezed into Squire line up on lead guitar just in time for their prestigious support at the Guildford Civic Hall to those other local boys, The Jam.

The Stud

Short description:
Characteristic of The Stud are the cutural differences, which are overcome by the common influences Britpop and Indierock and get together in a new way in their own sound.
As individual as the members are,is also the sound of the rebellious-sounding music, which is inspired in the Sixties, Britpop and today's indie rock.
Cutting, rough guitar riffs, tough vocals along with the Drumbeats and a rich bass make it impossible to stand still.

The Velvelettes

The Velvelettes were a 60's femal vocal group founded in 1961 by sisters Carolyn and Millie Gill with cousins Bertha Barbee-McNeal and Norma Barbee (both from Flint, Michigan) on the Western Michigan University campus, where they were students. The group signed to Motown Records, but weren't given top priority, as other female vocal groups were attracting audiences and recording hits. While the group awaited their chance at stardom, they recorded backing vocals for more established Motown girl groups, including The Marvelettes, Martha & The Vandellas, and The Supremes.

Artist Type:

Remodel

Remodel are a guitar band, this is obvious by virtue of the fact they have a guitar player. They are also a pop band, but pop in the sense of bands like the Who, The Smiths and Blur. Like all classic British pop bands they are a fourpiece. Frontman Mr Leigh Swinn is quite tall and dark, the sort people see in crystal balls. Always smartly attired and often caustic with his words. Guitarist Mr Mark Heffernan is small and angry. He likes noise and cricket. He is also fond of tea.
