Last Dance

Last Dance were one of six acts who featured on 4AD's first-ever compilation 12" Presage(s), released in September 1980. They promptly vanished into obscurity, though their track "Malignant Love" was resurrected for a full-length label compilation titled Natures Mortes – Still Lives, which was initially released on vinyl only in Japan, then eventually reissued as a mail-order CD. They are different from the more recent band The Last Dance.

BEASTMILK MANIFESTO
i would not drink milk and nor would i have my children's blood paying for both sides of the war with my milk (let's just get some more foreign oil). and how do you feel about the menstrual cycle. the blood: you can not continue to drink my breastmilk: the average menstrual cycle is twenty-eight days. drink it! how much money causes ovulation; a gushing geyser of oil? (mmm, warm!) contaminated blood products imported from the U.S. in the 1970's and the 1980's: quite content with just sitting here watching television pumping away: and menstruation does not occur.

Officially there have been over 30 musicians involved with the band. Therefore a historical litany of them all would be impractical. The album gained local success. A year later the band completely broke up. Singer Rozz then teamed up with members from the band “Pompeii 99' founded by singer, guitarist, song writer Valor.

Led by singer-songwriter and ex-member of punk band The Pack, Kirk Brandon, the original group also consisted of: guitarist Simon Werner, bassist Jonathan Werner (some sources say Jamie Stewart of The Cult fame) and drummer Luke Rendle.

The Rabies

Be afraid of The Rabies, be very afraid... The sweet and syrupy powerful vocals of Lexi Lawsuit (often compared to Siouxsie Sioux), combined with catchy yet haunting guitar melodies, spooky keyboards, and the steady throbbing rhythmic percussion...it's horror pop cabaret that packs a punch. Hailing from the underbelly of Buffalo NY, The Rabies emerged in 2003 and acquired a faithful following, all claiming to have been "infected" by the new buzz. With their concoction of punk, new wave, goth, and in-you-face rock-n-roll, The Rabies aren't here for a campfire sing along.
