The Wreckery

THE WRECKERY are a Melbourne based formed by Hugo Race and Ed Clayton-Jones on their return home from tenure with Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds in Europe and the U.S.A. Robin Casinader joined on drums having played with Hugo and Ed in the art punk outfit Plays with Marionettes. Nick Barker and Charles Todd finished the line up on bass and sax respectively. THE WRECKERY were a big hit on the live circuit and had a large and loyal following.

Rubella Ballet

Rubella Ballet is a day-glo anarcho-punk Peace band formed in 1979 by Sid Ation who lived at Poison Girls HQ Burley House in Epping just down the road from Crass's HQ Dial House. Sid first started the band with former Fatal Microbes guitarist Pete Fender (14) Gem Stone (12 drummer from Fatal Microbes), Bassist "It" (Fatal Microbes) also briefly appearing in the band in it's experimental early days was singer Annie Anxiety from New York who lived with Crass at dial house...

The Rabies

Be afraid of The Rabies, be very afraid... The sweet and syrupy powerful vocals of Lexi Lawsuit (often compared to Siouxsie Sioux), combined with catchy yet haunting guitar melodies, spooky keyboards, and the steady throbbing rhythmic percussion...it's horror pop cabaret that packs a punch. Hailing from the underbelly of Buffalo NY, The Rabies emerged in 2003 and acquired a faithful following, all claiming to have been "infected" by the new buzz. With their concoction of punk, new wave, goth, and in-you-face rock-n-roll, The Rabies aren't here for a campfire sing along.

Blackpool

There is more than one band with the name Blackpool. 1) Blackpool is a post-punk band based in Brooklyn, NY. The band consists of members Melody Bleak (formerly of Bleak Track), Graham vanderVeen, Dave Ciauro and Erik Nyquist. In 2009, Blackpool teamed up with director Amanda Laws to create their debut music video for the song "Dissolve." The track will also appear on an upcoming SINister Records compilation CD, Memento Mori: A Collection, in January 2010.

2) Hard core/metal band from Long Beach, New York.
3) Ambient duo of Theo Travis and Dave Sturt.
4) New Wave / Postpunk band from L.A. (1977-83) 1) Canadian-based hip hop duo whose album 360 Degrees came to prominance on the Canadian scene in the mid-90s.
Cipher is producer Clean, providing an atmospheric blend of smokey jams, late-night jazz and ambient synths whilst rapper G2, brings true microphone talent to the mix.

Christian Death

Officially there have been over 30 musicians involved with the band. Therefore a historical litany of them all would be impractical. Formed in Los Angeles and fronted by 16 year old vocalist/lyricist Rozz Williams, the band released the first album “Only Theatre Of Pain in 1982. A dark, sinister style of punk rock. The album gained local success. A year later the band completely broke up. Singer Rozz then teamed up with members from the band “Pompeii 99' founded by singer, guitarist, song writer Valor.

Specimen

Specimen was an 80s batcave British band. They have been described as being many different genres of music, including; glam, goth, punk and deathrock. Biography The band formed in Bristol, England during 1980. Their first show was at a street party celebrating the wedding of The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer. In 1982, the band relocated to Soho, London, where they would play many shows at the infamous club known as The Batcave, Specimen's vocalist Ollie Wisdom founded and ran the club during 1982-1983.

Inca Babies

Sometime in 1982 or 1983 in Manchester’s Hulme district the Inca Babies were formed. Hulme, a concrete, deck access ‘streets in the sky’ projects, was at that time a demi-bohemia over run with artists, musicians, students, addicts and ‘ne’er do wells’. Previous tenants, mainly families, put there to benefit from this ‘magical new living space’, realising a slum was a slum regardless of how high off the ground you put it, had long gone.

Alien Sex Fiend

Forming in 1982 in London, UK, Alien Sex Fiend played their first ever gig at the original Batcave club in Soho, London. They quickly became known in the batcave and subsequent gothic scenes, then far beyond those genres for their dark electronic, industrial, punk sound, with its mixture of heavy samples, trippy loops, guitar and manic vocals. Comprising of frontman Nik Fiend and his spouse Mrs. Fiend as the nucleus, the band has put out a long and musically varied discography over the years.
