Deadbeat Darling

New York four-piece Deadbeat Darling is spending time on both sides of the pond. After selling out some of NYC's most prestigious venues over the course of the last 3 years, the band was signed by UK label Spearhavoc Records in March 2011, and promptly whisked away from Brooklyn to record in Wales with Grammy award winning producer Ken Nelson (Coldplay, Badly Drawn Boy). The album, titled "THE ANGEL'S SHARE", was mixed by another Grammy award winner, Adrian Bushby (Muse, Foo Fighters), and is due out in early 2012.

Charalambides

Charalambides are a musical group originally from Houston, Texas, USA and lately of Austin, Texas. Formed in 1991 by Tom Carter and Christina Carter, adding Jason Bill and Heather Leigh Murray, they have followed in the footsteps of other Texas music artists such as The 13th Floor Elevators, The Red Krayola, and Jandek. Their music contains elements typical of psychedelic music such as reverb, extended jamming and the use of found sounds, as well as elements of noise, avant garde, folk, and drone music.

Wiretree

Austin's Wiretree began as the solo recording project of singer-songwriter Kevin Peroni. After releasing the LP "Bouldin" in 2007, Peroni recruited Joshua Kaplan on guitar, Rachel Peroni on bass and Daniel Blanchard on drums to solidify the project. The group released their sophomore effort "Luck" in 2009, finding it's way on various year-end best of lists (Blurt, Absolute Powerpop) while being labeled Blurt Magazine's "Best Kept Secret.

Glasgow University Chapel Choir

The Chapel Choir of The University of Glasgow is made up of thirty-two auditioned singers of mixed voices (S.A.T.B.) formed of a mixture of volunteers, choral exhibitioners and professional Lay Clerks. In addition to the eleven funded choral awards, all members of the choir receive free singing tuition. The choir is directed by James Grossmith, also Chorus Master of Scottish Opera, and accompanied by the University Organist, the renowned British recitalist Kevin Bowyer, and the University Organ Scholar, Ross Luescher.

Fabulous Thunderbirds

For the past 30 years, The Fabulous Thunderbirds have been the quintessential American band. The group's distinctive and powerful sound, influenced by a diversity of musical styles, manifested itself into a unique musical hybrid via such barnburners as "Tuff Enuff" and "Wrap It Up". Co-founder Kim Wilson, the sole original member, still spearheads the group as it evolves into its newest incarnation.

Paper Shapes

Paper Shapes also known as "The Paper Shapes" is an American rock band formed in 2009 and currently based in Austin, Texas. Paper Shapes' reputation as one of Austin's best live progressive punk rock bands with a loyal and rabid fan base. In 2010, Paper Shapes, will be releasing a new album,Be Vigilant will be the punk rock band's second EP. Be Vigilant will include the studio version of the popular song Castles.

Yellow Fever

There are (kind of) two artists who perform under the name Yellow Fever: 1) Yellow Fever changed their name to YellowFever(no space, capital 'F'). http://www.myspace.com/yellerfever
2) Yellow Fever combined Rock’n Roll music with Latin and Reggae rhythms. The act played together between 1994 - 2004. It was during a Summer in the early 90's that Alex Svenson-Metés, the band’s main song-writer and singer, returned from a Summer job as a cowboy in Colombia with an idea in mind; to combine some Latin sounds he had heard while working in Latin America with traditional alternative rock.

Divide

1) Divide were a hardcore band from Glasgow, Scotland who formed in the 90's and were signed to Rucktion Records. They played their last ever show at The ARC in Glasgow towards the end of 2011.
