Git

Bersuit Vergarabat

Bersuit Vergarabat, formed in 1989 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is one of the most important Argentine rock bands of the 1990s/2000s. After 2 albums of underground transgressive rock, the band started mixing it with Latin American rhythms such a cumbia, chacarera, candombe and cuartetazo. The lyrics, though, remained acid and critical of political and social problems. The current line-up is: Gustavo Cordera (voice), Juan Subirá (keyboards and voice), Carlos Martín (drums), Oscar Righi (guitar), "Pepe" Céspedes (bass guitar and voice)...

bubu

Bubu was an Argentinean progressive band that only existed during some years in the late seventies and that only released one album called Anabelas. Although recorded in 1978, the album was not released until 1983 due to censorship from the dictatorship government at that time.
Bubu´s music is very intricate and original making their style hard to categorize. While Avant garde might be the best description, it still would not be enough, as this band also takes elements from Jazz, Symphonic prog and even some Zeuhl.

Invisible

Invisible was originally formed by Luis Alberto Spinetta (guitars and vocals) who was formerly from the band Pescado Rabioso* that recently broke up at the time. The bass and drums were played by two former Pappo's Blues members Hector Lorenzo (drums) and Carlos Rufino (bass.) During the beginning of the bands playing (1973) the music was more straightforward rock with influences of Hendrix and Zeppelin and touches of a Black Sabbath sound. Their first, self-titled album, reflected their influences and was very complex, especially for a three man rock group.
