Formerly known as Plastic Man, Plastician is a recently appointed Radio1 DJ on the "In New DJs We Trust" show. He is a talented DJ from Thornton Heath, South East London, and has been producing music for over 5 years now, having worked with big names in the grime and dubstep scene, such as JME, Wiley, Lethal Bizzle, Skepta and many more.
Art of burning water make noises and are making new noises on their yet to be recorded follow up to the 2006 record "voyage of the..." Word from camp AoBW is that, the new album, entitled "head of the tempest", is far bleaker and heavier than it's predecessor. In fairness, it just rocks harder. Chris McCormack is from London and is Techno's international man of mystery.He has never been a prolific producer preferring to release quality over quantity, so each release becomes an event and is highly sought after by DJs and fans. His debut release was in 1996 and his 2002 record the Erase Techno EP
Yeah Yeah Noh were a post-punk group formed in Leicester, England in 1984. They released two albums and five singles while still together, and have had two compilation albums issued since they split in 1986. The group reformed in 2011, an announcement appearing on the Cherry Red Records website: "STOP PRESS: Yeah Yeah Noh are back together and are playing live as of summer 2012, on the lookout for 'interesting gigs in fields; gardens with expansive lawns considered'."
Marvell are a Grime collective founded by members; Double S, DJ Limit, Vertex and Shocka. They are heavily involved and are close affiliates with independent label Alwayz Recording. Currently all active members of Marvell are working on their solo projects aswell as building the collectives name. Double S has a mixtape entitled Money's the Motive, which was released late March 2008. Shocka & Vertex released a joint mixtape entitled Late Arrival in October 2008.
