Strike the Colours

Strike The Colours are Scottish, the band's hailing from Glasgow. The two main ladies are Jenny Reeve and Sarah Roberts. www.myspace.com/strikethecolours or www.strikethecolours.com. You can download some of their songs or alternatively buy their mini album on tour (Jenny Reeve is also touring with scottish virtuoso Malcolm Middleton former Arab Strap currently, past gigs include openings for Idlewild and such).
One of the listeners favourites is a track called "Choose Me"! Oh and they have an Australian connection, as one of the members' dad is Australian!!

The Mutton Birds

The Mutton Birds was formed in 1991 in New Zealand, by Don McGlashan, formerly of Blam Blam Blam (guitar, vocals and euphonium), Ross Burge (drums), David Long (guitar) and Alan Gregg (bass guitar). They scored several hits in New Zealand, including "Nature", "Dominion Road", "Your Window", "Anchor Me" and Blue Öyster Cult's "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" which was featured in the movie "The Frighteners" directed by Peter Jackson.

Experimental Pop Band

Formed in Bristol in 1996, the Experimental Pop Band originated as a studio band who included Davey Woodward (vocals) Chris Galvin (bass) and Corin Dingley (drums and keys). the band released a series of singles that gained critical acclaim from national music press including single of the week with the track 'boutique in my backyard' later covered by Sophie Ellis Baxter's theaudience. First ablum was a compilation of 4 eps named 'Woof' released on the Swarf Finger label. Corin left the band to form Alpha with Keith Bailey (drums) and Joe Rooney (keyboards) joining in mid 1996.

Karamel

1) Karamel, sometimes stylized as KaraMel, was a bubblegum-pop duo from Toronto, Ontario, Canada that formed in 2008. KaraMel was made up of Kara Lane and Cassie Steele. The band originally appeared on the show disBAND, where the lineup was Kara and the original "Mel," Julie. Sarah Scherb later replaced the original "Mel" of the group. Due to Sarah wanting to go back to school, Cassie took Sarah's spot. Cassie left the band in March 2011, while Kara started a new project, titled The Boom Boom, officially putting an end to the Karamel project.

Black Wire

Black Wire were an English indie rock band from Leeds, UK. The band members were Daniel Wilson (Vocals), Si McCabe (Guitars, backing vocals), Tom Greatorex (Bass) and Danny Prescott (Drums). Black Wire formed in January 2003 and played their first gig within a month of forming, at the Leeds club night Pigs. They then went on to tour excessively playing with such bands as Bloc Party, The Libertines, HARD-Fi, The Cribs, Kaiser Chiefs and The Futureheads.
