Brad Strut

Brad Strut is an MC from Melbourne, Australia. He made his name through radio appearances in the early 90s and appeared on early releases from Bias B, Trem and Boney Stoney (Bias B and Brothers Stoney). His debut album "The Authentic" was released in 2001, after which he went on to form the Lyrical Commission with Trem and Bob Balans. LC released their debut "The Stage is Set" in 2002 and followed it up with the "Murderous Metaphors" EP in 2004.

Men Without Hats

Men Without Hats is a Canadian alternative / Synthpop group from Montreal, Quebec, Canada formed in 1977 who were popular in the 80s. They were characterized by the deep, expressive vocals of their lead singer Ivan and their elaborate use of synthesizers and electronic processing. Men Without Hats were always, at the core, Ivan Doroschuk (also released solo as Ivan) and his brother Stefan Doroschuk, with various other members, including a third brother, Colin Doroschuk, as well as Jeremy Arrobas, tracy howe, Roman Martyn and Allan McCarthy.

Blades Of Hades or simply Blades (since 2006), are an Australian hip hop group from Newcastle. Since forming in the late 1990's they have released three albums, Blades Of Hades, This Installment, and Shadow Art in 2008. The group took its name from Greek mythology, where Hades was the Gatekeeper of the Underworld.[2] Known for their hardcore style lyrics and dark beats, Blades have developed a strong following overseas, having performed at many festivals in Europe, including Germany's Mass Hysteria in Hamburg.

They deliver sincere and radical lyrics with sounds and beats that include sounds from around the world.

Ozomatli

Ozomatli is a hip-hop group formed in 1996 in Los Angeles, known as much for their extremely vocal activist viewpoints as their wide array of musical styles. Ozomatli take their name from the Nahuatl word for the Aztec astrological symbol of the monkey, which is also a god of dance, fire, the new harvest, and music. The members of the band met through their affiliation with the Peace and Justice Center of Los Angeles, and their first performance was for picketers during a strike. They began their career in the Los Angeles and San Diego/Mexico border-area club scene.

Mike Skinner (born November 27, 1978), more commonly known by his stage name The Streets, is a rapper from Birmingham, England. He was born in Barnet in North London and that's where his accent, sometimes called 'Mockney' by the press, comes from. You can hear his actual accent on the start of 'Fake Streets Hats' from his album The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living recorded in 2006. He moved to Birmingham shortly after he was born and is a Birmingham City fan. He has suffered from epilepsy since he was five.

Soweto Kinch

Soweto Kinch is a jazz composer and arranger, alto saxophonist, and rapper. He was born in London in 1978, but brought up in Birmingham, where he is still based. On graduating with a degree in Modern History from Oxford University, he joined Tomorrow's Warriors; and in 2001 made his recording debut (on the Jazz Jamaica album Massive), and formed his own trio. His two albums to date, Conversations With The Unseen (2003) and A Life In The Day Of B19: Tales Of The Tower Block (2006) combine bebop-style jazz with elements of hip-hop, soundscapes and spoken dialogue.

Plan B

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Plan B (real name Ben Drew, b. 1984) is a rapper from Forest Gate, London. From the age of 11 he attended Anglo European School in Ingatestone Essex, before transfering to Tom Hood, an inner-city comprehensive. He has described his character, in these school days, as "a bit of a cunt". He is signed to 679 Recordings, home to UK rap act The Streets. His unique sound is characterised by his use of acoustic beats and lyrics involving drugs, rape, murder and underage sex. He was placed fourth in the BBC's "Sound of 2006" competition.
