Cara
"Anam Cara" is Irish for "soulmate", "Cara" means "friend". Cara is a newly formed band, rooted in Irish and Scottish traditional music, but with ambitions to create a new and unique sound. Tommy Fleming
Tommy Fleming – is Ireland’s biggest selling Irish artist over recent years.
Tommy Fleming was born in 1971 in Aclare, County Sligo. His singing talent was apparent from a young age, when he took part in talent competitions and concerts. Started a rock band (!) whilst at school.
After leaving school (in 1990) Tommy started to establish himself as part of a Castlebar quartet known as “Jarog” performing in pubs and clubs around the country. Tommy was also attracting attention at their many festival appearances across the country.

Quadriga Consort
Since the formation of the Quadriga Consort in 2000, the Austrian ensemble under the direction of the harpsichordist Nikolaus Newerkla has made a name for itself beyond the borders of Austria, playing early music, which defies being pigeonholed as either "classical" or "pop". With its first programme, Ground – released on CD (2003) with Label Harp, Berlin – the Quadriga Consort already delighted its audiences with uncompromising interpretations and unsuspected freshness, beyond any categorization.

Paddy Keenan
Paddy Keenan (b.1950) is an Irish player of the uilleann pipes. Keenan was born in Trim, County Meath. His father and grandfather were both uilleann pipers, and his father, Johnny Keenan, spent many nights playing along with piper Johnny Doran. He began playing at the age of nine, and at the age of fourteen he played at the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin. He then turned towards blues and rock and toured England and Europe when he was seventeen.

GAVIN JAMES
Gavin James was born in Ealing, London and now lives mostly in South Switzerland, on a Greek island or in Wales. He started learning classical guitar at the age of eleven, and used this as a basis to explore other styles of music such as folk und blues and popular songs of the day. Gavin started hitch-hiking around Europe at the age of seventeen, supporting himself by playing in bars and busking. In the ten years of his travels he gained musical and life experiences which inspired him to write songs about his life on the road.

Great Big Sea (often shortened to GBS) is a Canadian folk-rock band from Newfoundland and Labrador, best known for performing energetic rock interpretations of traditional Newfoundland folk songs. The band also performs original material. On March 11, 2010, Great Big Sea celebrated their seventeenth birthday as a band. And like almost every one of their many anniversaries spent together, they celebrated it by playing a concert, this one in Omaha, Nebraska.
