Slim Cessna's Auto Club is a country music band formed in 1993 in denver, Colorado. The constant in the band has been Slim Cessna, formerly a member of The Denver Gentlemen (along with David Eugene Edwards and Jeffery-Paul of 16 Horsepower). Their music includes elements of country blues, southern gospel, and other forms loosely grouped as Americana or alternative country. The Auto Club is sometimes labeled "country gothic" due to the juxtaposition of apocalyptic religious imagery with stories of alcohol, violence, and relationships gone awry.

Califone is a critically-acclaimed experimental folk band from Chicago. The band is named after Califone International, a long-standing manufacturer of audio equipment commonly found in schools, libraries and businesses. Califone is the musical project of former Red Red Meat frontman Tim Rutili. American Music Club
American Music Club (often abbreviated AMC) is a San Francisco-based band led by singer-songwriter Mark Eitzel. They've been recording and playing in SF clubs since the mid 1980's, showing a remarkable longevity for a band that has been far more critically acclaimed than financially successful. Although born in California, frontman Mark Eitzel spent his formative years in Great Britain and Ohio before returning to the Bay Area in 1980.

Dan Stuart
Considering that Dan Stuart's well-respected, if under the radar, Americana band Green on Red was relatively prolific in their '80s heyday, his subsequent solo career has oddly been nearly nonexistent. Besides a few Danny & Dusty releases (separated by a gap of 22 years) and the Can O'Worms (1994) album that closely followed GOR's dissolution, there hasn't been anything else.* That's too bad because based on this performance, Stuart could have rivaled Chuck Prophet, his far more successful songwriting comrade in Green on Red.

Blue Rodeo
Blue Rodeo is a Canadian country rock band formed in 1984 in Toronto. Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor, who have been friends since high school, having both attended North Toronto Collegiate Institute. The pair worked on forming a band after both attended Queen's University at Kingston. They had a few failed attempts and a few adventures before finally coming together with Cleave Anderson, Bazil Donovan, and Bob Wiseman to form Blue Rodeo. Their debut album Outskirts was produced by Terry Brown, who is perhaps best known for his work with Canadian hard rock legends Rush, was released in March 1987.
