Langhorne Slim

Langhorne Slim is a folk singer, born Sean Scolnick, who hails from Langhorne, Pennsylvania. They are currently based out of Brooklyn, New York and California. In August of 2006, Langhorne Slim and the War Eagles signed to V2 Records, who folded on the deal to release a 2007 s/t full length. The band then signed to Kemado Records, who released said album in 2008. In 2009 they released their newest record, Be Set Free, which includes guest vocals from Erika Wennerstrom of the Heartless Bastards.

Ha Ha Tonka

The album takes listeners on a complex tour of the South—through lynchings and mob violence, sacrifice and reconciliation. The son of novelist Larry McMurtry, James was born in Fort Worth, Texas in 1962, and grew up in Virginia. Leadbelly

Huddie Ledbetter (23 January 1888-6 December 1949) was a leading American blues singer and guitarist. His songbook contained a large number of standard folk tunes, most adapted from previous sources. Though many of his posthumous releases list him as "Leadbelly," he himself spelled it "Lead Belly." This is also the usage on most of his original records, tombstone, as well as of the Lead Belly Foundation.
