Static X

Static-X is an industrial metal band. Formed in 1994, they are signed to Warner Bros. Records and have released five albums, their most recent being Cannibal, which was released on April 3, 2007. The band rose to fame with their debut album Wisconsin Death Trip, which went platinum in 2001.However, this is the only album they have released to date that has reached such sales level. Their sound incorporates elements of industrial music and heavy metal in a sub-genre called industrial metal. Static-X often refer to themselves as "Evil Disco".

Sybreed

Formed in 2003 in Geneva, Switzerland by guitar player Drop and singer Benjamin, Sybreed was created to reflect their mutual tastes for metal and industrial music, with conceptual contents revolving around social misery, everyday alienation and the decay of the modern way of life in general. Later, they began work on material for their first album SLAVE DESIGN which was released in 2004, and then performed around the US to unleash the album's electronic violence on stage.

Hanzel und Gretyl

Hanzel Und Gretyl are an American industrial metal band formed by members Loopy and Vas Kallas. They formed in 1993, sharing a vision of the future which focused on the rise of machines to power over Earth, and having the tools needed to turn that vision into music. Their first album "Ausgeflippt" was released on Energy Records. The album, translating to "flipped-out" in German, received great reviews, while their dance single "Shine 2001" reached #1 position on the Alternative press Dance Chart. The duo formed a live band, recruiting Ginger Bread on bass and Pat 5000 on drums.

System Divide

System Divide is a band. Founded in Israel and Belgium in 2008, SYSTEM DIVIDE quickly became a transnational project with in its rank vocalists Sven De Caluwe (Aborted) and Miri Milman (ex-Distorted), longtime friends Cole Martinez (ex Years of Fire, Antenora), Andrew Lenthe (Antenora), and Mike Heller (Malignancy).
SYSTEM DIVIDE set out to revolutionize the conventions of the over-saturated melodic death metal genre, proving that extreme metal can have more depth than blast beats, while female vocals do not have to conform to the precepts of the “Goth” genre.

Emperor

Emperor is an influential Norwegian band that represents a synth laden, progressive yet brutally aggressive and chaotic part of the genre, something quite different from the minimalism of other originators of the Norwegian sound (e.g. Darkthrone). The band was formed around the core members Samoth (Tomas Thormodsæter Haugen) and Ihsahn (Vegard Sverre Tveitan) of the band Thou Shalt Suffer and bass player Mortiis (Håvard Ellefsen) in Notodden, Norway, 1992.

Lithium

There are several bands using this name: 1. Lithium was a Swedish electronic industrial band formed by Johnny Hagel(previously in bands like Tiamat and Sundown), and Carl Nilsson(previously in Moth). They released their album Cold in 2002 which met with moderate success and tours to follow, including performances at festivals like M'era Luna.
Work commenced in 2003 with a new album which was finished in 2004, but was never released due to problems with the record label, finally leading to the band being dropped altogether and disbanding shortly thereafter.

Front Line Assembly

Front Line Assembly are Bill Leeb (vocals, synthesizers) and Rhys Fulber (synthesizers and samplers), the best-known project undertaken by the prolific Vancouver-based duo. After working in the mid-'80s under the pseudonym Wilhelm Schroeder with Skinny Puppy, the Austrian-born Leeb formed the industrial/ebm-based Front Line Assembly in 1986 with Fulber -- who initially joined on as a studio assistant -- and synth player Michael Balch.

Wayne Static

Wayne Static (real name Wayne Richard Wells, born on November 4, 1965) is an American musician who was born in Muskegon, Michigan, and is currently the singer, guitarist, and programmer for the Industrial band Static-X. His hometown is Shelby, Michigan and he graduated from Western Michigan University. Before Static-X, he worked as an asparagus picker. Wayne is also a vegetarian because he opposes animal captivity.
