2) WOW are sydney duo Matt Cribb and Bree Carter. Formed in late 2007, they quickly rose to prominence playing alongside names such as Crystal Castles, Midnight Juggernauts and Uffie & Feadz. Their style of music is a blend of disco punk and pop, resulting in unique sounding music.

Xuefei Yang

Early years: Yang began playing the guitar at the age of seven, and began formal tuition when she was ten, studying under the famous guitarist Chen Zhi, later Chairman of the China Classical Guitar Society. Her public debut was at the First China International Guitar Festival where she met immediate acclaim. At the same time, she was presented with her first foreign guitar (a "Pepe" children's guitar from Aria), by the celebrated Japanese guitar maker Masaru Kohno. She went on to win second prize at the Beijing Senior Guitar competition being the only child competitor, aged eleven.

Joey Yung Cho-Yee (Traditional Chinese 容祖兒; Simplified Chinese 容祖儿; Cantonese: Yung Cho-Yee; Mandarin pinyin: Róng Zǔ'ér (born June 16, 1980) is a popular female Chinese singer and actress from Hong Kong. She is an artist of the Emperor Entertainment Group. She won the "Most Popular Female Singer Award" on Jade Solid Gold in 2003 with her hit, "My Pride" and won the same prize in 2004, 2005, and 2006, thus emerging as one of the premier Cantonese singers in the world.

There is at least two acts called Tang: 1) Tang was formed during the Autumn of 1997 and established its first line-up during the Winter of 2000. That time marked a renewal of activity for the outfit, and an ever-growing willingness to advance with their music was born. The group released several demos, including a 3 track CD, given as a freebie, that astounded critics all over France. "Tang has a talent to grab your guts when the first chords are strummed, and the overall atmosphere is really emotional."

Jam Hsiao

Jam Hsiao / ??? discovered his passion for music when he was around fifteen. At the time he started experimenting with the jazz drum which he mastered two years later. Afterwards, Hsiao taught himself how to play the keyboard and became a pub singer at the age of eighteen. He skyrocketed to fame in 2007 after he appeared as a challenger on Taiwan's popular singing competition program One Million Star and went head to head against Aska Yang. A natural music talent with a superb sense of melody and rhythm, Jam's music repertoire includes everything from pop and rock to R&B and jazz.

Monkey

There are more than one musical act that use the name Monkey. 1) Monkey is a third wave ska band from the San Francisco Bay Area of California, formed in summ/er 1996. Current band members include Curtis Meacham (guitar, vocals), Donelle Cory (bass), Micah Turney (drums), Dustin James (keyboard, trombone), Dan Root (tenor and baritone saxophone), and Brian Lockrem (trumpet, backup vocals). Formed in 2001, No Name is one of the big names among the Chinese punk Old Skull bands. At the end of 2003, the music-recording company TimeString Records incorporated the song No Name by The No Name band into an underground album which in turn, surprised everyone. In 04, they made and released a new demo CD, We Don't Need That Shit!!! consisting of many new songs which they had made during the time period of 2001 to 2004.

There are at least three artists with the name Subs. 1) An up-and-coming Belgian electro outfit; see The Subs 2) At the centre of the China’s burgeoning rock scene is Beijing, and at the centre of the capital city’s rock scene is another Subs, whose screaming garage-punk rock is the most sought after live experience in the country.
