Formed in 1998, and named after a mexican death cult that would surround towns at night and murder the non-believers, the favourite sons of the lizard witch spent years flailing around the undergound, bringing the message of the goddess to the faithful and spreading the word like blight spores in fresh lungs. Then came the first book of morte, "Tooth and Nail" and its companion piece "6 Fingered Jesus" and the chosen rejoiced and waited for second book of the Gilla Bruja for there will be six before the bruja will come for her due.

Monster X

There are at least two bands under this name: 1.) The first band to ever call themselves Monster X was from Orange County California (USA) and they started April 1986.
Their music was punk rock with a bit of funk in their songs. Members: Vocals - Steve Belmonte, Guitar - Dan Moses, Bass - Steve Price, Drums - Brian Prenger. The played several shows from 1986 to 1992 and a few reunion shows in 2005 with a new lineup which included Steve Belmonte as the only original member. Guitar player Dan Moses plays in the band the Dynotones. Steve Belmonte sings now and then for the Luxurious Adults.

The Dead

There are at least four bands using the name "The Dead": *American; rock, jamband genres: The Dead, also known as the Other Ones, are a North American rock band composed of former members of the Grateful Dead. After the death of Jerry Garcia in 1995, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann formed a band called The Other Ones. They performed concert tours in 1998, 2000, and 2002, and released one album, The Strange Remain. In 2003, they changed their name to The Dead.
