Andres Calamaro is one of the most popular Argentinian pop-rock songwriters. A songs craftsman, as he likes to consider himself. Born Aug 22, 1961 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he began his professional musical career at the age of 17 playing keyboards in Raíces.
In 1981 he incorporated to one of the main bands of the Argentinean '80s rock scene: Los Abuelos de la Nada. Although the band was led by the brilliant Miguel Abuelo, Calamaro composed most of the band's hits, like "Mil Horas," "Así es el calor," "Sin gamulán" and "Costumbres Argentinas."
Yuri (born Yuridia Valenzuela Canseco on January 6, 1964) is a famous Mexican singer and actress born in the state of Veracruz. At a very young age, Yuri showed artistic interest and she was accepted to a famous Russian ballet. However, she wasn't allowed to join because her parents were afraid of the prospect of little Yuri living in a foreign country. When Yuri was 12, she participated in two famous Mexican television children's shows for Televisa, including the Cepillin show.

Ruth imitated her vocals until she was pitch perfect to the iconic Spanish opera singer.

There are more than one artist with this name. 1) Standstill is a Spanish indie rock band from Barcelona. Their first two albums were hardcore, sung in English and reached some popularity in European hardcore scene. After those two records, they released an acoustic EP, and since then, they've been singing in Spanish (the last two albums).
