From the ashes of Sod Hauler and Lethe comes Bell Witch, the newest heavy music project for Seattle based drummer Adrian Guerra and bassist Dylan Desmond (also of Samothrace). Bell Witch's bass and drum only doom metal is extremely bleak and extremely heavy, just as it should be.

Zonderhoof are based in South Wales and their music has been described as a "killer stoner-sludge-doom-metal hybrid with some heady atmospherics". They first released their 3 track demo in 2006 which led to the release of their debut EP/Mini album on Sound Devastation Records in 2007. Their music is mostly instrumental, aggressive and very loud. Rooted in hard rock, hardcore punk and metal, the band take inspiration from a mixture of classic influences like Breach, Melvins and Black Sabbath mixed with similarities to present day bands such as High on Fire and Neurosis.
There are at least two bands under the name Corrupted. (1) Corrupted is a Japanese sludge/doom metal band, formed in 1994. Their sound is characterized by incredibly downtuned guitars and bass playing slow, monotonous riffs under deep layers of feedback. The vocals are harsh guttural grunts, and the music alternates between long instrumental sections and sections with vocals which go for long periods of time without rest.
Led by former members of Sunn O))) and Burning Witch (Bootsy Kronos , B.R.A.D.), this band from Long Beach, CA, USA features members of Secret Chiefs 3, The Master Musicians Of Bukkake and Black Horse. Asva takes the drone metal medium and doom metal aesthetic but involves new elements such as wooden chapel organs and subharmonic drones.

Saint Vitus is a doom metal band, formed 1979 in California, USA Saint Vitus is known as one of the first doom metal bands, starting out as early as the late 1970s. The band first used the name Tyrant, with Scott Reagers (vocals), Dave Chandler (guitar), Mark Adams (bass), and Armando Acosta (drums), but soon changed their name to Saint Vitus after the song St. Vitus' Dance by Black Sabbath. Their main influences were Black Sabbath, Pentagram and Black Flag.

Kongh are a metal threepiece from Sweden. They were founded by Tomas Salonen (drums) and David Johansson (guitars/vocals) in 2004, later joined by Oskar Rydén (bass). After releasing a demo in 2006, they released their first full-length in 2007, entitled Counting Heartbeats. In 2009 they released Shadows Of The Shapeless on Trust No One Recordings.
