Super Florence Jam

super FLORENCE jam are an underground sensation. The band have played to packed and passionate audiences at many of Australia's most popular venues including the Metro Theatre, Gaelic Theatre, The Hi Fi, Roundhouse and Royal Easter Show. Having supported artists as diverse as British India, Shihad, Dallas Crane, Bertie Blackman and Airbourne, the band have finally recorded their much-anticipated debut EP, set for release on December 11th.

Emit

Emit is a British ambient/black noise band consisting of four members, a guitarist/vocalist, two percussionists and another vocalist. The band formed from the remnants of a short-lived black metal band of 1998 called Ante Cryst. They continued from there, playing experimental black metal/noise (black noise) and gaining some notoriety in the underground scene (as other black noise like Nebiros and Stalaggh popped up, and labels like Todestrieb and Autumn Winds began representing them). After 10 years, Emit is moving onto a new phase.

Amphibic

Amphibic are a London based outfit that was formed in 2000. They signed to Haldern Pop Records in 2004 and have released two albums with them so far. The band consists of songwriter Neal Hoffmann (vocals, guitars, keys), Ollie Barnes (guitars, piano), Joakim Persson (bass, organ), Sebastian Sternberg (drums) and Celine Barry (cello).
Their sound has moved from folk tinged acoustic indie-rock on their debut FILM IN MY HEAD to a more straightforward indie-pop approach on their follow up EP, THERE WERE MILLIONS OF THEM.

The Leap Year

The Leap Year are a band from Perth, Western Australia. They formed in 2006 and comprise of Rob Schifferli (Guitar/vocals), Martin Allcock (Guitar/vocals), Paul Haimes (Bass/vocals) and Chris Reimer (Drums). The Leap Year's debut album "With a Little Push, a Pattern Appears" was released on November 5th through Hobbledehoy Records. It was recorded at Bergerk Recording Studios by Al Smith, mixed by Simon Struthers (Adam Said Galore/Mukaizake/Umpire) and mastered by Bob Weston (Shellac/Mission of Burma) at Chicago Mastering Service.

1) Brian James (born Brian Robertson 18 February 1955, London, England) is a punk musician, best known as the original guitarist for The Damned. His first bands were the proto-punk outfits London SS and Bastard. Some of the influences of Bastard's on stage appearance would surface later when James moved on to what would prove to be another pioneering punk band; The Damned, recording on their first two albums Damned, Damned, Damned and Music For Pleasure before leaving. Brian subsequently formed and disbanded Tanz der Youth and Brian James Brain's who briefly became The Hellions.

“We write songs that aim to make people dance and feel good, singalongs, catchy, instant 3 minute pop songs. And we do it for one and only one reason - we love it! We dont dream of anything other than getting our songs heard and into people heads. Success is a by-product of such a thing and that is not the reason we do it.“ When Shakinouts formed in the spring of 2007 it was more to do with another bands implosion and a feeling of an unfinished job than the usual ambition of bands seeking fame and wealth.
