Apparat

Apparat is a German electronic musician (Sascha Ring) living in Berlin, Germany who since 1999 has been running the Berlin based record label "Shitkatapult" together with T.Raumschmiere. Starting out with dance floor-oriented techno, he later started to create ambient music and recently became "more interested in designing sounds than beats". Recent music is closer to glitch, clicks and cuts or idm, accompanied with classical string instruments and other sounds. He works with his own tool created in MAX/MSP framework. Effects are controlled by midicontroller.

A Terrible Splendour

A Terrible Splendour is a musical project from MM Lyle and Martin Block. The sound is a fusion of electro, pop and cabaret, with lyrical and stylistic influences coming from early 80's New Romanticism and the Weimar Republic. The material here is from their six-song demo. The Russians/Slaves to the City double A-side was released on iTunes in 2010. They have played a number of dramatic and entertaining shows in Europe and are now recording and mixing new material for their upcoming album. www.aterriblesplendour.com

Scarlet Blonde

scarlet/blonde The founder members, Dawn Firth and Ditch, met at age 4 and were always destined to work together. A class photo from back then has the words “Dawn’s boyfriend” inscribed by Dawns father beneath Ditch’s picture- so the chemistry was clearly obvious from day one. In the intervening years, Dawn became a guitar virtuoso by learning every note from every Iron Maiden song alone in her room and picking up String and Guitar Endorsements on the way through her unbelievable, unique, self-taught technique.

Glovebox

Glovebox utilize their crossover sound of Electrorganic super Pop to form a collage of different sonic textures, beats and grooves layered under the distinct unusual voice of Mishka - The Hungarian/Cyprian singer who's remarkable vocal brands each song and twists it's attitude. Their lyrics stem from real life experiences and emotions giving their music depth and meaning but manage to still maintain the element of super pop fun.

FreQ Nasty

From the days of Breakbeat's origins, FreQ Nasty established himself as one of the scene's pioneers, producing many of the genre's defining moments. As Breakbeat came into its own, FreQ Nasty's tunes remained ahead of the pack. His music is on the cutting edge of the FutureStep Movement, a chaotic loose assemblage of sonic renegades, steeped in the traditions of Breaks, Dubstep, Rock, Ragga, Grime and Funk, chopping in and out of slow-motion, Halfstep beats.

There are at least two artists called Utrecht: 1) An British house music producer (2012 - )
2) A Japanese electro-funk band (2006) 1) Utrecht, a house/garage producer from Brighton, England, began producing in 2012. He released "APC" on the Good Years London imprint in November of that year. 2) Utrecht, a Japanese electro band, are Gikyo Nakamura, Yasuhiro Ukai and Tomonori Hayashibe. Their album "Phantom of indie boyz" was released by Gizmmo in 2006.
